EL AMIR featuring as one of the soloist with ‘THE WORLD OF HANS ZIMMER’ at the TEATRO REAL in Madrid.

“The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration” is coming to Spain to the Universal Music Festival for an unforgettable concert which will take place on July 3rd at the Teatro Real (Royal Opera) in Madrid. The show counts with many amazing featuring guest artists and friends of the composer himself such as Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance), renowned director and conducter Gavin Greenaway or the violinist Rusanda Panfili. Amir John Haddad – EL AMIR has been invited as a soloist on Flamenco Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bouzouki and Ukelele.

El Amir on tour with ‘The World of Hans Zimmer’

From April 2018 “The World Of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration” goes on tour throughout Germany, accompanied by longstanding friends, colleagues, rock stars and film composers. Amir John Haddad – EL AMIR will be joining the project.

El Amir plays Vivaldi on buzuki for the first time

El Amir plays Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major for Mandolin for the first time on greek Bouzouki. He has made a special adaptation for Bouzouki and it will be the first time to hear the complete version of this Concerto on this beautiful instrument.

Canción Andaluza by Paco de Lucía for the first time on stage

For the first time this album will be brought on stage as a tribute by his nephew Jose Maria Bandera (a regular member of the famous sextet in many world tours) and Amir John Haddad – The Amir – a powerful guitar tandem full of emotion, virtuosity and sensitivity while interpreting faithfully and masterfully some of the songs that the Maestro of Algeciras had chosen for this album “Canción Andaluza”.

Zoobazar says Goodbye

After many years of immense creativity, concerts all over the world, smiles and applauses, we regret to announce that ZOOBAZAR band has decided to stop their activities for now due to internal changes in their infrastructure. The experience has been very pleasant and we achieved many unbelievable goals and played in so many countries, that makes us feel very satisfied and thankful. We’ve embraced this project with gratitude and honor. We believe in the important contribution that Zoobazar has made with their Mediterranean Music to World Music.
